Reflection on the Year

January 14th, 2026

It has been a couple of weeks since my last newsletter, and I’m so happy to say I’m back for the rest of the year! Thank you all so much for your continued support over the last year. It truly means more than I can explain. And it’s such an honor to say this is Year Two of The Movement Movement!

This year, I have so many goals and plans I can’t wait to share with you. We’re going to keep moving, nourishing our bodies, and creating beautiful moments together along the way. 🤍

This week, I want to share the biggest lessons I learned last year:

1. My circle is meant to be dynamic.
The people in my life don’t all have to fill the same role, and no one person is meant to meet every need. Different relationships bring out different parts of me, and that’s a beautiful thing! I love all the quirks and hearts of my people.

2. I’m in control of me.
I can focus on being good and doing good, but how other people receive me is not in my control. If I’m authentically being myself, it’s inevitable that I won’t make everyone happy… and that’s okay.

3. Slow downnnn.
This one is a work in progress. I’m learning that I don’t have to fill every second of my day with something productive. Rest is part of the process and is definitely necessary.

If you needed a reminder today to release what you can’t control, keep showing up as yourself, and breathe a little deeper… this is it. 💛
